Open Position Back of House Chef Crew:
Lead Line Cook and Prep Cook

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on a small line (primarily sauté & grill), is passionate about locally grown ingredients while inspired by cultures & cuisines from all over the world, and works well within a small team. Experience working a fast-paced dinner service at a fine dining restaurant is preferred. Characteristics of the ideal candidate include a positive & professional demeanor, ability to prioritize & multi-task, adept knife skills, keen problem-solving and creativity with ingredients. Our dinner service kitchen crew is small and is comprised of four positions: Expo (Chef Samir), lead line cook (this open position), line/pantry cook and dishwasher. Our prep team is comprised of a Pastry Chef, Kitchen Manager and this open position. Tips are shared between all staff (owners excluded).

The Bistro is open for Dinner Service Wednesdays through Saturdays from 4:30 to close (last seating at 9:30). Our dining room is comprised of just 35 seats and the largest party we accommodate is 6 guests. We average 2-3 turns each night, between 60-80 covers. In addition to our regular dinner service, we host private parties, wine dinners, community dinners & collab dinners, often on Mondays and Tuesdays when the Bistro would typically be closed.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in a high-end from-scratch kitchen. This position is for Tuesday (daytime prep) and Wednesday-Saturday (prep + dinner service), as well as 1-2 additional special events per month. We ask for a commitment of one year at minimum.

Benefits include:
* Hourly rate plus a portion of the tip pool, paid bi-weekly. Salary & profit sharing will be considered for the right candidate.
* Pre- and Post-shift family meal, Post-shift drink
* 2 weeks paid vacation and 2 weeks unpaid vacation per year (during the Bistro's scheduled Summer and Winter Breaks)
* FULL Healthcare coverage offered after 90 days
* Thanksgiving & Christmas off (bolstered by prep/cleaning shifts leading up to our Holidays at Home menu pick ups)
* Year-end bonus
