Side by Side: Understanding Old World vs. New World
We’ll explore the true impact of terroir, climate and culture by tasting three pairs of wines made from the same grapes but in different parts of the world.
Sunday, April 12th at 4pm
Weird [but good] Wines!
The wines we’ll explore in this class may be recognizable varieties made in non-traditional places or obscure varieties that are unique to the regions in which they’re cultivated. You’re sure to taste something you’ve never had before - which is the best way to understand what wines you enjoy most!
At each tasting class, Sarah will guide attendees to develop their tasting techniques, give tips for discussing wine preferences and build on a foundational understanding of wine and how it's made. Attendees will take home tasting notes, technical sheets, and educational materials. Previous educational wine experience is not necessary - these classes are great for beginners as well as those with a more robust understanding of wine.
Charcuterie & light snacks will be provided.
