WINE 101: Understanding the Basics
Expand your foundational understanding of wine and how it’s made through the tasting of 6 different wines. Sarah will lead the group through tasting techniques to help you decipher your wine preferences and build confidence around talking about wine.
While this class is geared towards guests who know little about wine, it is also appropriate for those who want to revisit the basics to build on their foundational knowledge.
This class is recommended for anyone who hasn’t taken Wine 101 when it was previously offered - and is interested in attending the next series of wine tasting classes - which is slated for August-September.
A series of educational evenings led by Sommelier Sarah Dilick. Each class lasts approximately 2 hours and includes the tasting of six wines plus light snacks.
At each tasting class, Sarah will guide attendees to develop their tasting techniques, give tips for discussing wine preferences and build on a foundational understanding of wine and how it's made. Attendees will take home tasting notes, technical sheets, and educational materials. Previous educational wine experience is not necessary - these classes are great for beginners as well as those with a more robust understanding of wine.
Charcuterie & light snacks will be provided.
